This position serves as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment & Placement), located in the Justice Management Division, JMD/OBD HR Services, Staffing and Recruitment.
This announcement is open to current permanent Department of Justice competitive service employees and CTAP/RPL applicants.
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement), at GS-0201-14, you must meet the qualification requirements listed below.
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service.
Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Leading a project or group of human resources specialists in performing policy or operations work in Recruitment and Placement; and 2) Interpreting human resources policy and/or procedures related to Recruitment and Placement.

The duties and responsibilities for a GS-0201-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Supervises a group of employees performing work at the GS-13 level.
Performs the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.
Oversees agency-wide internal and external recruitment and placement programs and evaluates them, considering the governing rules and regulations and the short and long-range objectives of the agency.
Develops, implements, and integrates the automation and technology strategies for agency recruitment and placement programs.
Collaborates with key managers on workforce acquisition, skills retention, quality-of-work-life issues, workforce development and workforce performance and recognition.
Provides agency-level expert advice on major organizational planning issues, such as the expected impact of reductions in work force, reorganizations, or other mass changes or situations involving a broad perspective on complex, interrelated actions.
