Full Job Description
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HOUSING MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY of NSA ANNAPOLIS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience analyzing current and past housing operations maintenance expenditures to determine future requirements Experience providing recommendations for housing plans and directives Experience planning work assignments and making adjustments to meet substantial changes in workload, work priorities, and deadlines Experience analyzing customer satisfaction surveys and feedback from tenants Experience determining requirements and managing all resources used in support of assigned housing facilities and infrastructure, including personnel, facilities, funds, and materials Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/1100/housing-management-series-1173/ Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).

- You will develop and ensure implementation of short and long range plan and procedures for maintenance/repair of assets.
- You will ensure buildings, grounds, rooms, furnishings are maintained in a clean and habitable condition.
- You will evaluate work performance of subordinates.
- You will manage the preparation, maintenance and implementation of the budget.
- You will conduct inspections of facilities, identifying problems or deficiencies and recommending or implementing appropriate corrective action.
- You will approve and track requests for Basic Allowance for Housing for personnel assigned to tenant commands.
