This job involves leading a team that plans and manages testing for naval aircraft systems to ensure they work well before use, including coordinating resources and developing strategies for efficient evaluations.
It's a supervisory role where you'll oversee engineers, handle budgets, and align testing with broader military goals.

You will serve as the Principal Technical Manager for Test and Evaluation Management of Programs and Operations Department Head within Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) of NAVTESTWINGLANT NWCF.
The Secretary of War has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze.

TQ #2. Knowledge of DoD acquisition policy and strategy for T&E solutions for development and integration of systems into Naval Aircraft.
Applies innovative tools, processes and human capital and financial management processes to swiftly evaluate current and future naval aviation capabilities.
