Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team to manage maintenance and overhaul projects for naval ships at a naval shipyard in Washington state.

You'll plan work schedules, evaluate contractor performance, and ensure projects stay on time and within budget while developing your team's skills.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROJECT MANAGER in the Northwest Regional Maintenance Center (NWRMC) Code 101 of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF).

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating contractor performance and quality, and planning of maintenance availabilities (e.g., cost, schedule, materials, quality) supporting maintenance or overhaul of naval ships and vessels.

  • You will identify employee developmental needs and provide or arrange for training, both formal and on-the-job, to maintain and improve job performance.
