This job involves leading a team of engineers and specialists in developing and maintaining equipment for launching and recovering aircraft on naval carriers and expeditionary airfields.

You will serve as a Branch Head in the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Department, Launch, Recovery & Expeditionary Air Fields Division, MK 7 Arresting Gear Branch of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NM-03 (Equivalent to the GS-13) level grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading multi-discipline teams responsible for the planning and execution of comprehensive life cycle acquisition and sustainment efforts to deliver aircraft launch and recovery (ALRE) solutions within program objectives for cost, schedule and performance.
2) Performing management functions to plan and execute the allocation of resources, development of personnel, direction of multi-functional work teams, and evaluation of performance.
3) Applying knowledge and expertise of multi-disciplinary aircraft launch and recovery equipment (ALRE) functions along with critical thinking to analyze and resolve a variety of complex technical challenges directly affecting large, multi-mission organizations.
4) Collaborating with numerous stakeholders and organizations to address programmatic and technical matters.
5) Supervising work, administering management policies and procedures, and coordinating functions across various groups to accomplish goals and objectives.
6) Ensuring guidance, processes, and tools are in place and utilized to enable personnel to effectively execute assigned work.
