Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves leading scheduling and planning efforts at a naval aviation maintenance center, where you'll oversee workloads, develop realistic production schedules, and coordinate with teams to ensure everything runs smoothly.
It's ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in managing complex projects in a technical or manufacturing environment, especially in government or defense settings.
You'll act as the go-to expert for forecasting and refining plans to meet deadlines without surprises.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY in the CENTRALIZED COORDINATION DEPT of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving as the resource-planning expert to monitor and manage all workload and scheduling activities; 2) Developing and maintaining an overall workload scheduling methodology/process; 3) Providing technical authority and expertise to establish standardized guidelines and rule sets for forecasting, planning and scheduling workload; 4) Providing final review, editing, and refinement of the rough-cut and detailed capacity plans based upon commodity scheduler inputs to ensure that the schedule is workable, realistic and executed as planned.
