Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and organizing forest area policies and programs and other related concerns for management and protection of forest resources AND performing natural resources research study design and data analysis.

  • You will develop and implement annual and long-range management plans for forest management and incorporate into Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP).
  • You will recommend and monitor use of program funds and personnel available to the Head, Natural Resources Branch for accomplishing the objectives of the various programs in the most efficient manner.
  • You will ensure forest surveys and appraisals are current and incorporated correctly in planning documentation for proposed projects.
  • You will respond to wildfires and provides technical expertise to Quantico Fire Department.
  • You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, andprepares schedules for the completion of work.
  • You will develop performance standards and evaluates work performance of subordinates.
