This position is located at Defense Finance & Accounting Services in Texarkana, TX. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Ability to organize and communicate professionally through written correspondence and oral communication.

Knowledge of nonappropriated fund practices, regulations and guidance materials. At least one year of leadership or supervisory experience.

Required experience must have been equivalent in complexity and difficulty to the next lower grade level.

Skill in identifying problems and weakness in order to provide management with accurate information, sound recommendations, and workable solutions.

  • Provide guidance and direction necessary to effectively accomplish mission requirements, prioritizing organizational goals into meaningful and achievable objectives, plans, priorities, and assignments.
  • Directly and substantially contribute to the planning and implementation of initiatives that contribute to achieving mission objectives.
  • Interprets policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements and provides recommendations for improvements to meet assigned mission objectives.
  • Proposes new procedures and methods or modifies existing procedures and methods to resolve current problems and enhance the validity, accuracy, and integrity of assigned mission.
  • Participates in decision making sessions and advises customers on regulatory requirements, financial policies, data interpretation and any applicable laws.
