This job involves leading financial analysis and budgeting for programs where the U.S.
sells military equipment and support to other countries, ensuring everything runs smoothly from planning to completion.
You'll oversee a team, review financial data, fix any issues, and advise senior leaders on budgets and policies.
It's a great fit for someone with strong financial experience in government or defense, especially in international sales, who enjoys mentoring others and working with complex regulations.
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYS in the Program & Business Analysis Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Master concepts, principles, practices, laws, and regulations of budgeting and/or financing and their relation to subordinate and senior levels; 2) Develop, recommend and implement budgetary/financial Foreign Military Sales policies; 3) Applying standards Security Assistance/Security Cooperation (SA/SC) programs to include the application of the FMS sales process from case development, implementation, execution, to closure, in accordance with the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), DoD 5105.38-M.
4) Analyzing, reviewing, and interpreting financial Foreign Military Sales execution data and resolving variances; 5) Communicate clearly both orally and in writing for the purpose of providing information and guidance to management or customers at all levels.
6) Providing leadership, oversight, and mentorship to financial management personnel; guiding workforce development, ensuring consistent application of Foreign Military Sales financial policies and processes, and collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support effective execution of Security Assistance/Security Cooperation programs.
