Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team in managing budgets and finances for a naval training center, including analyzing spending data, recommending cost-saving options, and overseeing daily financial operations.

It's a supervisory role where you'll guide subordinates and handle complex budgeting tasks with a lot of independence.

A good fit would be someone with experience in financial analysis, strong leadership skills, and a knack for working with numbers in a government or military setting.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCE DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN WEST DET.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing automated financial management systems to analyze budgetary data and determine cost effective use of funds to provide recommendations supporting financial or budgetary programs.

  • You will operate with a high degree of independence in carrying out budgetary and financial management responsibilities.
  • You will be performing a variety of analytical, technical, and administrative work for substantive programs and support activities.
