Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading a team in the Navy's financial management division, where you'll analyze budgets, advise on fund distribution, and ensure financial plans support the organization's goals.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND. This is a RE-ADVERTISEMENT of Announcement Number:ST-12917833-26-CLS.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing technical advice and guidance to management and program managers regarding accounting, labor and funds distribution; 2) Performing detailed financial and accounting analysis to determine operational effectiveness and efficiency; 3) Developing complex financial plans to ensure alignment with program and organizational mission and objectives; and 4) Utilizing DoD financial, accounting and travel systems (e.g., Planning, Programming, Budget Estimate System [PPBES], Defense Travel System (DTS)) to monitor expenditures and funding.

  • You will manage subordinates to include planning work, setting priorities, establishing schedules, and delegating tasks based on employee capabilities and organizational priorities.
