Full Job Description

You will serve as a Supervisory Environmental Engineer/ Natural Resources Specialist/ Physical Scientist in the Department of the Navy of NSA Naples, Italy Public Works Department.

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector responsible for implementing environmental policy and providing environmental program management support to include environmental compliance, conservation, and or services (e.g.hazardous waste handling, spill response).

• You will provide advice, counsel, or guidance to employees on both work and administrative matters.
• You will review work of employees during progress or upon completion of tasks and takes or recommends appropriate actions, as necessary.
• You will be responsible for planning, development and implementation of a broad environmental protection program and ensuring environmental compliance in all environmental media for FEC regional installations that comprise the installation command.
• You will act as the Environmental Management Systems Representative to the ICO and is responsible for implementing the installation's EMS.
