You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER in the ENVIRONMENT DIVISION (CODE 106.3) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer planning and developing environmental protection program directives and evaluating plans, instructions, or designs to ensure environmental compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations in an industrial environment.

- You will oversee the planning, development and implementation of the environmental protection plans/directives/projects that are required for compliance with Federal, State, local laws, regulations and Navy policy.
- You will direct Environmental Engineers and Environmental Protection Specialists in a broad range of technical and administrative efforts to implement these Environmental Programs to prevent pollution.
- You will provide technical guidance in environmental protection compliance and pollution prevention matters.
- You will revise/update established policies and procedures in order to resolve problems.
- You will plan and control employee assignments to ensure a satisfactory degree of quantity and quality of work is performed.
- You will rewrite, accept, amend or reject employee work and resolve technical problems that employees cannot resolve.
