Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the STRUCTURE ENGINEERING DIVISION of V-22 FLEET SUPPORT TEAM (FST) with FLTREADCEN EAST.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Expertise in Fleet Support Team (FST) Engineering, developing program sustainment and acquisition engineering support; 2) Effectively managing technical and professional services required to sustain a weapon system; 3) Evaluating new approaches, guides and standards to make engineering decisions.

  • You will be tasked with the responsibility to direct engineering resources, processes, and facilities necessary to provide engineering support.
  • You will establish well-documented, standard processes for use throughout the organization.
  • You will maintain close involvement with Program Managers/IPT leaders in development and attainment of overall goals and objectives.
  • You will provide a full range of first-level supervisory responsibilities over a segment of highly professional employees providing subsystems and flight controls engineering services.
  • You will provide a full range of Technical Team manager responsibilities to ensure engineering products and services are completed to meet all customer requirements for timeliness and meet reasonable level of effort expectations.
