You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Develop original course plans and designs for basic and advance course concepts.
Assess program or course curriculum, content, and instructional materials to coordinate the development of course products.
Supervise and evaluate students enrolled in resident and nonresident training programs Review and analyze enforcement training program planning for effectiveness and integration with agency plans.
Modify training program curriculum and submit course revision recommendations for review and use.

Major Duties:
As a Supervisory Detention and Deportation Officer (ICE Academy), you will perform the following duties: Supervise the design, development and coordination of training programs, courses, workshops and seminars covering a broad spectrum of subject material.
Provide leadership, advice, and guidance at national level on DRO Academy training programs and activities.
Analyze and evaluate program effectiveness, initiating changes in procedures, regulations, and instructions as required to improve effectiveness.
Perform administrative and human resources management functions relative to staff supervised.
Conduct liaison with other ICE operational, management, and program offices and representatives of other Federal, State, local and foreign law enforcement agencies.
