Job Description

Summary

This job involves leading efforts to build and improve programs that help hire, train, and keep skilled professionals in government acquisition roles, especially within the Navy's systems command.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Architecting and executing comprehensive talent management and acquisition workforce development strategies AND providing expert advice and recommendations to senior leadership on complex acquisition problems and leading high-visibility programs related to workforce development.

  • You will spearhead the creation and execution of cutting-edge career and leadership development initiatives designed to cultivate a high-performing, agile, and mission-ready workforce.
  • You will collaborate across SYSCOMs to build a modern, comprehensive talent management framework for the 0340 series professional, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the best in the field.
  • You will be leader with strong acquisition and business acumen who brings expertise in business transformation, organization design, team effectiveness, change management, and organizational development.
  • You will utilize technical and programmatic experience to evaluate workforce development needs and programs.
  • You will be responsible for completing and delivering PMCB-assigned actions and work products as part of GS-15 level cross SYSCOM working groups.
  • You will support organizational transformation initiatives, helping teams navigate change and evolve in a fast-paced, changing environment.
