Full Job Description

You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the CYBER/S&T Department of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NM-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading a team in the execution of computer networking concepts/protocols and network security methodologies; providing subject matter expertise at the center level in the planning and execution of organizational cybersecurity policies and practices and facilitates the resolution of problem sets where guidelines are nonexistent or conflicting; and applying contract and procurement expertise to support division cybersecurity projects/tasks.

  • You will serve as the Branch Head of Organizational Improvement, Code 58108 for the Cybersecurity Engineering Division.
  • You will provide supervision, technical leadership, planning, program development, financial oversight, coordination and management of all aspects of the tasks, services, personnel and facilities assigned to the branch.
  • You will provide oversight for division contract, procurement, administrative, training, and plant property, and other services to a wide variety of cybersecurity efforts supporting multiple services, major programs of record and agencies.
  • You will serve as part of the Code 581 Leadership Team contributing to the formulation of technical and administrative objectives and working with project leads, other Branch Heads and staff to achieve these objectives.
