Full Job Description
The Mental Health Center (MHC) is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to serve as the Supervisor for psychological services within our mental health clinic. This working supervisor will direct clinical services with strategic leadership and support integration with other Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) programs to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. This role will also provide clinical and administrative supervision, conduct psychological evaluation, and lead the development and implementation of program structures, workflows, and service models.

Location and hours:
This position is located at the Hennepin County Human Service Center at 2215 East Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN 55407, and other clinical sites as needed. Typical work hours are between 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; some evening hours are also possible. No weekend, overnight, or holiday shifts are required. Hybrid work schedules may be offered after a successful probationary period. New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new benefit-earning employees is in-person in downtown Minneapolis. Details about NEO will be provided upon hire.

In this position, you will: - Provide clinical supervision to staff delivering psychological services, ensuring adherence to professional standards and best practices.
- Offer administrative oversight related to workflows, documentation, and service delivery processes.
- Conduct psychological assessments and contribute directly to client care.
- Lead program evaluation and development to enhance the quality, efficiency, and sustainability of psychological services.
- Develop standardized documentation templates, referral pathways, and evaluation protocols.
- Establish clear expectations for clinical roles and define productivity benchmarks aligned with the complexity of psychological work.
- Design and implement operational workflows that support high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee case assignment processes to ensure equitable distribution and alignment with clinician expertise.
- Collaborate with other CCBHC program leads to ensure integration and coordination of services across departments.
- Mentor staff and foster a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutes, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
Need to have:- Doctoral degree in psychology in an APA approved clinical program.
- Three years or more of post-doctoral experience in a medical or mental health setting with at least one year of administrative or supervisory experience.
- Certification as a licensed psychologist.
Nice to have: - Experience in clinical supervision, program development, and strategic leadership.
- Knowledge of:
- Psychological assessment and intervention practices.
- CCBHC models and integrated behavioral health services.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to foster commitment and build support for a diverse and inclusive organization that reflects the residents we serve.
- Experience or education around addressing racial equity, gender equity, LGBTQIA equity, neurodiversity equity, differing ability equity.
