The Department of Human Services is looking for compassionate, resourceful Social Workers who are eager to deliver vital social services to patients at Torrance State Hospital.

In this position, you will engage in direct clinical contact with patients, as well as maintain communication with families, community agencies, and the patient’s assigned treatment team.
Responsibilities will include conducting admission assessments, offering direct support to patients or family members, and participating in the development and implementation of each assigned individual's comprehensive individual care and treatment plan.
You will confer with facility staff and act as a liaison for community providers and family members to ensure the best outcomes for those served.
Additionally, you will provide social work consultation to other professional disciplines and collaborate with the treatment team.
