This job involves leading teams to plan, design, build, and renovate county buildings and facilities, while managing budgets, staff, and contractors to keep projects on track.
A good fit would be someone with strong leadership skills and experience in overseeing construction or facility projects, who enjoys coordinating with teams and solving problems in a government setting.
It's a part-time role at 34 hours per week in Towson, Maryland, focused on public property management.
Regular Schedule: 34 hours per week A non-merit vacancy exists in Property Management, Office of Budget and Finance.

Under the supervision of the Chief of Capital Construction division, is responsible for the leadership, planning, direction, control, and evaluation of work associated with the development, design, review, approval, and construction of County capital building projects and renovations.
EXAMPLES OF OTHER DUTIES
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, public administration, or a related field,plusFour years of experience in facility management or project management, two years of which were in a supervisory capacity.
(Additional qualifying experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
Education beyond a bachelor's degree may substitute on a year-for-year basis up to a maximum of two years for the required non-supervisory experience.) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Entry-level):

Physical and Environmental Conditions The work of this classification entails frequent walking, standing, climbing ladders, ascending stairs, general ability to traverse a project site and the operation of motor vehicles to travel between work sites.
