DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Senior IT Professional – Applications will be responsible for the management and support of Microsoft 365 applications, specifically focusing on SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, Nintex workflows, and other Microsoft tools.
The ideal candidate will work under direction of the IT Manager and will perform M365 related application management and support activities for city departments, and staff to ensure the seamless operation of M365 apps, maintaining a 24/7 uptime.
This role will be pivotal in the administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of M365 applications, providing hands-on support, training, expert-level troubleshooting and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
WORKING CONDITIONS
There are no major sources of discomfort, i.e., essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature, and air conditioning. Significant time spent using computer displays, keyboard, and mouse.
EDUCATION
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management and Information Systems (MIS) or a closely related field. Usually has advanced technical certifications that demonstrate mastery of a specialized application.
EXPERIENCE
At least six (6) years of technology experience supporting applications. Advanced certifications and/or greater than six (6) years applicable experience may be substituted for up to two (2) years of the education requirement.
