Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position.
Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.
Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience utilizing expertise in personnel security case management to conduct detailed prescreening interviews, submitting initial and periodic background investigations, and timely reporting of derogatory information while serving in a critical security role such as a Special Security Officer (SSO) or Assistant Special Security Officer (A/SSO).
-Experience leveraging information gathered from conducting incident-based interviews to make critical security judgments, including making final access determinations as a Personnel Security Specialist or formal eligibility determinations as an Adjudicator.
-Experience applying proficiency in physical security management for classified environments to conduct comprehensive Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) inspections and/or systematically preparing a facility and its personnel for oversight and compliance reviews.
