Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes drafting policies and procedures governing application of antiterrorism programs, implementing risk management strategies and antiterrorism strategic plans; and creating and assessing program requirements and training for force protection plans.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Major Duties:
- Serve as an Antiterrorism Staff Officer for US Army Pacific, G34 Protection Directorate.
- Technical authority on antiterrorism and force protection program requirements.
- Conduct antiterrorism threat, vulnerability, criticality and risk assessments and analysis for inclusion in the US Army Pacific Antiterrorism regulation and strategic plan.
- Subject matter expert for policies and procedures governing antiterrorism protection disciplines that include physical, information, operational, personnel and industrial security.
- Conduct antiterrorism and force protection surveys, assessments, and assesses force protection policies and systems.
- Monitor command protection posture.
