Full Job Description

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the EKMS/KMI SERVICES BRANCH of COMMANDER ELEC ATTACK WING PAC FLEET.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in providing program management and guidance for Electronic Key Management System/Key Management Infrastructure (EKMS/KMI) and Communication Security (COMSEC) services for customers both ashore and afloat.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Major Duties:

  • You will provide consulting and advising services to command in the development, formulation, installation and management of policy in all matters (technical and administrative) regarding EKMS/KMI and its support of local elements.
  • You will provide support to CVWP special access programs (SAPs) based as required by the CVWP Command Security Manager (CSM).
  • You will act as liaison representative for command in all matters pertaining to EKMS/KMI.
  • You will acquire, monitors, and maintains the command EKMS/KMI material allowance.
  • You will evaluate local element requirements and requests and identifies solutions to EKMS/KMI problems.
  • You will develop, coordinate and implement written guidance for local element EKMS/KMI policy and procedures, with particular emphasis on accountability, Two Person Integrity (TPI), security, and identification of improper practices.
