Specialized experience is defined as: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes ensuring anti-terrorism and/or force protection programs comply with established policy; providing feedback to help create crisis management procedures; advising personnel on existing physical security requirements; and assisting in the development of anti-terrorism and /or force protection training for organizations workforce.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-9).
Major Duties:
- Ensure policies adequately relate to outlined Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) program objectives
- Produce risk management reports for higher headquarters review
- Conduct briefings to disseminate Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) guidance to agencies
- Provide mandatory training to employees to ensure workforce is aware of antiterrorism procedures
