This job involves managing security operations for the U.S.

Full Job Description

You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Security Programs and Info Mangagement Branch of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Processing security tasks and manage daily operations in personnel, information, and industrial security.

  • You will act as the Security Manager in the absence of the Security Manager and Assistant Security Manager for the day to day operations.
  • You will Assist in the management of all HQMC matters related to classified information including storage, handling, transmission, control and disposition thereof.
  • You will determine security clearances for complex and difficult requests.
  • You will conduct personnel, physical, and/or information security program evaluations.
  • You will Independently develop new methods, criteria and/or policies for security plans involving access to grounds by employees, vendors, and government personnel.
