Full Job Description

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the N35 Future Operations Directorate for COMUSNAVEUR-COMSIXTHFLEET SEA, Capodichino, Italy.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing various security principles and concepts (e.g.

Executive Orders, DISA Security Traditional Implementation Guides, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual, OPNAV Instructions) to independently maintain security requirements for an organization; 2) Communicating security procedures and requirements to personnel; 3) Performing physical security assessments and inspections to safeguard facilities and material; and 4) Determining security eligibility of personnel utilizing various security programs.

  • You will administer and direct the Information, Physical, Personnel, Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection, and Industrial programs according to Dept. of Defense and Navy regulations, instructions, and policies.
  • You will develop Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection and emergency management directives to implement established policies.
  • You will communicate security policies and standards for command compliance with security regulations and standards.
  • You will advise and represent the command in security planning conferences for security programs.
  • You will facilitate development of integrated multi-disciplinary approaches to address the most significant maritime intelligence information priorities, requirements, knowledge, gaps, trends, and potential threats to U.S. interest.
  • You will develop force protection plans and procedures in accordance with an organization's mission and objectives.
