Full Job Description

You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Advanced Security Division, Security Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV POINT MUGU.

DA-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band (DA-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Applying and advising on security policies and procedures for the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and classified information; 2) Leading facility inspections, developing security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and managing and resolving security incidents; 3) Developing and delivering security training programs and briefing leadership on security matters; and 4) Establishing priorities and providing guidance and leadership to security teams.

DA-04: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band (DA-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Applying security policies and procedures for the protection, handling, and marking of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and classified information; 2) Conducting self-inspections of secure facilities and responding to and reporting on security incidents; 3) Assisting in the development and delivery of security training programs to personnel; and 4) Communicating security information and providing guidance to teams and leadership.
