The incumbent will be responsible for: Implementing DoD and Agency policies on special access program (SAP) personnel security requirements to include actions within the Joint Access Database Environment (JADE).
Salary Ranges are the following unless statutory/regulatory rates prevail.
For the Schriever AFB, CO Location: $91,870 to $142,022 For the Redstone Arsenal, AL Location: $93,216 to $144,102 You may qualify at the NH03 Broadband Level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A.
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service as listed below and must meet 2 of 4 specialized experience listed below to be qualified: Experience managing oversight of special access program (SAP) personnel security activities, SAP information, industrial, personnel security principles and access management for an Agency or large DoD office.
With advanced knowledge of all SAP policies and directives.
Experience managing oversight of all access management requirements within the Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) and working in other personnel security databases (e.g.
CVS, DISS, Scattered Castles). Experience in the processes and procedures of SAP security compliance inspections within the DoD SAP enterprise and the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
Experience in the development of security education, training and awareness briefings for diverse audiences, using a variety of methods (e.g. In-person, CLMS, CDSE).
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

As a Security Specialist at the NH-0080-3 broadband level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Implement DoD and Agency policy on special access program (SAP) personnel security requirements to include actions within the Joint Access Database Environment (JADE).
Provide SAP security compliance support guidance to the Agency and Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
Oversee and implement the Agency SAP security education, training, and awareness program and provides training to Agency and supports DIB personnel security officials (SPOs).
Manage DoD SAP access and billet management requirements for the Agency.
Make access eligibility determinations in accordance with DoD and Agency SAP nomination processes as the SAP Central Office SPO lead.
Develop and present personnel security reports; analyze data and implement measures to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
Provide personnel security support and guidance to senior executives, program management offices, DIB customers, and external stakeholders.
Assign work and provide guidance to assigned contractors supporting personnel security.
