Base salary range: $37,764 - $49,094

GS-06: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing secretarial or administrative support functions in an office setting to include using office automation software systems to prepare and proofread or edit correspondence, schedule appointments, greet visitors and answer phones.
GS-05: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing administrative and clerical duties in an environment where there is a system of formal internal procedures and administrative controls by screening requests for information, providing authorized information from files and records, and advising on established procedures and refer non-routine requests to the appropriate staff member.
