Base salary range: $30,286 - $39,372

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job is for a secretary role in the U.S.
Marine Corps' Environmental Affairs Branch in Japan, where you'll handle daily office tasks like managing calls, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and preparing reports to support the team.
It's ideal for someone organized and detail-oriented with experience in administrative support, who is comfortable using computers for tasks like word processing and calendars.
Note that medical and dental care is very limited in Japan, so it's best for those prepared for overseas living.
You will serve as a Secretary (OA) in the Environmental Affairs Branch of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing clerical and administrative support duties to include: Screening calls and visitors, setting up meetings, maintaining electronic calendars, arranging travel and conferences, and/or preparing and reviewing correspondence and reports.
