Summary

This seasonal job involves helping out in the City of St.

Louis Revenue Department during busy times from November to June, mainly by sorting mail and greeting visitors at office locations to guide them and answer basic questions.

Full Job Description

The seasonal Revenue/Assessment Clerk will be working in the Department of Revenue assisting during peak business months (November through June) in Assessment and Collections. While there are no guaranteed hours, this position is estimated to work 40 hours per week from 8AM-5PM and the salary will be $15.00 hourly.

Requirements

Receiving, opening, and sorting incoming mail.

Serve as a greeter at any one of our three locations (Clayton, West County, or South County) where you will be directing customers and providing general information when asked.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or the equivalent.

The work rules for the Department of Revenue require all employees, whether they reside in St. Louis County or elsewhere, to remain current in the payment of their personal and real property taxes.
