To receive credit for experience, your resume MUST clearly indicate the nature of the duties and responsibilities for each position, starting and ending dates of employment (month/year), and the resume must reflect full and/or part-time or total number of hours worked (i.e., work 40+ hours a week, rather than indicating full-time).
If part-time, the hours must be annotated to be able to pro-rate the amount of qualified specialized experience. SELECTIVE FACTOR: This position requires candidates to be proficient in typing.
In addition to meeting the experience and education requirements below, candidates MUST be able to type 40 words per minute (based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors).
To demonstrate this proficiency, your resume MUST clearly indicate that you possess the ability to type at least 40 words per minute or submit a typing certificate taken within the last 3 years at the time of your application.
- AND - To qualify for this position at the GS-0326-4 grade level, you must possess at least one of the following minimum qualifications by close of the announcement: EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of general experience equivalent to the GS-0326-03 level in the Federal service (Obtained in either the public or private sectors).
Examples of general experience includes but not limited to: providing assistance and information in person, by telephone, via email, or by written correspondence; greeting visitors; disseminating information; providing directions, etc.
You must include hours per week worked. -OR- EDUCATION: Successful completion of at least two years of education above high school level.
This education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:
This position is located in Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, in the Administrative Division.
Receive and process all incoming packages and mail from USPS, FedEx, and UPS; ensure timely distribution to appropriate recipients.
Serve as the park receptionist, greeting visitors and employees and providing courteous assistance.
Provide visitors with accurate, up-to-date information on recreational opportunities, available campgrounds, park resources, and operational facilities and services.
Operate the main switchboard utilizing Microsoft Office Teams for Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area at Park Headquarters, directing calls appropriately.
Utilize word processing software to create, edit, and format letters, reports, and other official documents.
