Full Job Description

These positions may be filled for a seasonal period, up to 1560 hours, but can vary due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding.

Major Duties:

Perform recurring building and/or utility maintenance and operation duties and assist journeymen and other higher graded maintenance workers in carpentry, painting, plumbing, roofing, electrical, cement finishing, masonry, wastewater plant operator, water plant operator.

You will receive work orally or through work orders. The instructions are of a general nature, supplemented by your knowledge and understanding of the trade.

You are responsible for detailed layout, selection of tools and materials and for accuracy, completeness and adherence to standards.

Assigned tasks are performed independently, with no technical assistance. Finished work is checked for adequacy by supervisor.
