Under general supervision, the AllStar Sports Camp Coach assists with the planning, coordination, and supervision of youth sports programs and summer camp activities for the City of Jacksonville Parks and Recreation Department. This position supports structured sports instruction, recreational play, and daily camp operations while maintaining a safe and positive environment for participants.

Requirements

  • Assist in organizing and leading sports activities including football, basketball, soccer, and other recreational games
  • Supervise campers during sports programs, camp activities, and transitions
  • Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and positive behavior
  • Ensure safety procedures and department policies are followed at all times
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and general camp operations
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, participants, and parents as needed

Additional Information
