The Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (USDB) invites you to consider a challenging and diverse employment opportunity with our school. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual to fill a School Nurse, RN or LPN position working in Salt Lake City.

*This position works during the school year, Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm*


Roles and Responsibilities
As a school nurse you will:
  • Provide special and general nursing services for students enrolled at USDB.

  • Provide treatment, care, and evaluation of students' medical needs.

  • Assist with medical emergencies, perform first aid as needed, and submit incident reports.

  • Complete documentation on time.

Minimum Requirements
The Ideal Candidate will possess:
  • Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Utah.

  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively.

  • Enter, transcribe, record, store or maintain information in either written or electronic form.

  • Maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
