Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732
Typical requirements: 1 year specialized experience at GS-8. Master's degree or 2 years graduate study.
Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves overseeing safety protocols, emergency planning, and fire safety compliance for naval facilities, including analyzing incidents, conducting inspections, and helping manage disaster preparedness.

You will serve as a SAFETY & OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT (R100), OCC SAFETY, HEALTH, & ENVIR PROT (R108), EMERGENCY MGT DIV (R1085) of TRIREFFAC KINGS BAY.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with planning, administration, evaluation and oversight in relation to Emergency Management processes and procedures.
Experience with the requirements for maintaining ship conditions and system status relating to fire safety and compliance.
Experience conducting drill plans and strategies to evaluate all facets of fire safety and disaster preparedness.
