Base salary range: $51,332 - $66,732

Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).

You will serve as a Safety & Occupational Health Specialist in the Commander Navy Installations Command of NAVSTA GTMO .
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyze data on work operations, mishaps, and safety practices to prepare reports of findings that propose corrective measures for unsafe conditions and hazardous work practices; 2) Investigate mishaps, hazard reports, and unsafe or unhealthful working conditions to protect personnel and property; 3) Advise personnel of safety and occupational health measures to control or eliminate hazardous operating processes; and 4) Conduct safety and occupational health inspections and surveys to evaluate effectiveness of unit safety program.
