This job involves leading a team of riggers and divers in planning, scheduling, and overseeing underwater maintenance and rigging tasks for naval ships at Pearl Harbor.
It requires supervising through other supervisors to ensure work is done safely, on time, and within regulations.
A good fit would be someone with strong leadership experience in hands-on trades like rigging or diving, who can manage teams and prioritize safety in high-stakes environments.
You will serve as a RIGGER SUPERVISOR II (DIVER) in the Lifting and Handling Department (C700) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time.
