This position is part of the Department of War Information Activity. The incumbent serves as the Resource Manager for the Headquarters, DWIA, and supports other subordinate components as directed.
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A.
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Managing fiscal, manpower, strategic planning and administrative resources.
Developing, analyzing, and providing data pertaining to personnel, budget and programs and plans, immediate and long-range resource requirements.
Performing and directing studies, and providing expert advice and guidance to senior leaders; as well as identifying actual or potential problems and preparing new or revised policy directives and procedures.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Major Duties:
As a RESOURCE MANAGER at the GS-0301-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Manages fiscal, manpower, and administrative resources, e.g., training management, security management, military and civilian human resources, civilian administrative actions, and facilities and logistics management.
Collects, develops, analyzes, and provides data pertaining to personnel, budget, and programs under the control of the Component Director, and plans immediate and long-range resource requirements.
Serves as the principal coordinator and liaison with DWIA Chief Human Capital Officer, Budget Office, and Acquisition and Procurement staffs.
Manages daily and long-term support operations, program analysis, and sets goals and objectives for the Strategic Plan and Manages Internal Control Program.
