Advertised Job Summary
This position supports a research study evaluating an early emotion regulation intervention for children with autism.
Responsibilities include preparing recruitment and training materials, coordinating participant recruitment and scheduling, assisting with child assessments, supporting training and fidelity monitoring for early intervention providers, and managing study data, reports, and research findings.
Required Education and Experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or a related field prior to the position start date.
• Prior experience assisting with research in a lab on a volunteer or paid basis.
• Experience conducting research or direct experience working with infants or young children with developmental delay and/or neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Familiarity with the IDEA Part C Early Intervention System.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Strong communication skills.
• This individual must be able to communicate effectively with faculty and graduate students, undergraduate students, and early intervention professionals, as well as with families of children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
