Advertised Job Summary

This position provides leadership in research on language and social communication development in populations at elevated likelihood for autism spectrum disorder. The Research Assistant Professor will oversee all aspects of an independently funded research study including supervising training and data collection fidelity, organizing training events, conducting assessments, mentoring and supervising students and staff, managing and coordinating complex data systems and data analyses, assisting with and leading manuscripts and preparing professional presentations.

Required Education and Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Research reliability on the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule.
• The completion of a postdoctoral fellowship in a related field is desired.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• In-depth training in assessment with infants and young children with neurodevelopmental disorders, preferably those with a family history of autism spectrum disorder; experience with longitudinal statistical modeling; experience in scientific manuscript and grant writing; excellent written and spoken communication skills.
