In this position, you will evaluate programs within the Bureau of Health Facilities and Home Care Services to identify key regulatory issues and support the development of recommendations for regulations, guidance, and procedures.
Your work will focus on the oversight and licensing of hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, acute care facilities, home health agencies, end-stage renal disease centers, indoor tanning facilities, hearing aid programs, and the regulation of drugs, devices, and cosmetics.
Key responsibilities include conducting regulatory analysis and interpretation, drafting proposed regulations and guidance documents, and recommending process improvements to strengthen regulatory compliance efforts.
You will also collaborate closely with program, legal, and policy managers to support comprehensive review and analysis while incorporating stakeholder input, monitoring national trends, and ensuring alignment with federal requirements.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.
