This job is for a registered nurse working in the central office of Pennsylvania's Department of Corrections, where you'll provide technical support to healthcare teams and ensure that prisons across the state follow quality improvement standards for inmate care.
It's a full-time office role with some telework options, ideal for experienced nurses who enjoy oversight, collaboration, and improving healthcare systems in a correctional setting.
A good fit would be a licensed RN passionate about public health and quality assurance, with strong organizational skills.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week.
In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.
If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mechanicsburg, PA. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

If you are within 60 days of graduating from a school of nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting.
