Our Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) Analyst will report to the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Division located in the Columbia UI Hub.
In compliance with Federal program requirements, the RESEA Analyst is responsible for providing claimants with quality reemployment services for the purpose of assisting them to quickly reenter the workforce and reduce the duration of filing for UI benefits.
The RESEA Analyst provides one-on-one assessment of continuing UI eligibility.
Reemployment services include the development of an individual reemployment plan, resume assistance, provision of labor market information, quality job referrals, Wagner-Peyser enrollment, and WIOA orientation.
The RESEA Analyst contributes to the integrity of the UI Benefits Program by conducting quality eligibility reviews and adjudication to reduce improper payments.
This role requires a dependable and customer service-oriented individual with excellent listening skills, sound judgment, and initiative.

Education and Experience
A high school diploma and relevant training and experience; or any equivalent combination of education, relevant training and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and procedures relevant to Unemployment Insurance and the administration of the RESEA Program. Ability to exercise judgment and discretion. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, and in written and oral form.
