This job involves leading and conducting quality reviews of child welfare cases for South Carolina's Department of Social Services, ensuring accuracy in assessments of foster care and family support programs.

Two (2) Positions Available
Job Duties:
Oversees the work of review teams during the review process to ensure accuracy and succinctness of item ratings.
Discusses any information about the review and needed reviewer training with DSS QA Management.
Utilizes online resources, briefs, and FAQs to validate the QA instrument and ensure completed CFSR QA instruments are completed with quality, accuracy, and consistency.
Serves as a Lead for child welfare CQI, Michelle H, other agency, and strategic reviews. Attends initial, logistical, orientation, and debriefing meetings as the QA Lead for the reviews.
Ensures that the reviewer guides and instruments are up to date and accurate to meet the needs of the agency and stakeholders. Communicates staffing needs with managers.
Discusses error reports with reviewers and their manager for quality purposes. Completes second level reviews of completed surveys.
Serves as reviewer, either solo or with a partner, to conduct quality assurance reviews of SC Department of Social Services' foster care and family preservation cases.
Reviews case files and electronic databases to rate items using the standard instrument; follows established protocols; interviews DSS staff and other stakeholders, as necessary, to gather additional information to support item ratings; documents findings on the instrument or other online platforms; and completes all documents related to the reviewed case.
Utilizes online resources, briefs, and FAQs to complete and validate the instrument.
