Note: Actual salary includes locality pay (15-40%+ depending on location).
This job involves working as a lifeguard at an outdoor pool on a military base in Okinawa, where you'll monitor swimmers for safety, perform rescues and first aid if needed, and help keep the area clean and organized.
You'll also assist with scheduling, inventory, and enforcing rules to ensure everyone follows safety guidelines.
It's a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong swimming skills, and is comfortable in a customer-facing role in a sunny, active environment.
This position is located at Torii Pool and Waterslide, Torii Station, Okinawa.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Resumes must be two pages (or less).

Possesses and maintains the following certifications: Lifeguard (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e.
Star Guard or Ellis); American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional; CPR for the Professional Rescuer or equivalent (i.e. Star Guard or Ellis); First Aid. 2.
Customer service experience. Highly Desirable: American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor or nationally recognized equivalent i.e.
Star Guard or Ellis Lifeguard Instructor Certification; OR American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor or nationally recognized equivalent i.e. Star Guard or Ellis Water Safety Instructor Certification.
In addition, possess and have the ability to maintain an O2 Administration certification (American Red Cross "Oxygen Administration" or nationally recognized equivalent i.e.
Star Guard or Ellis Oxygen Administration) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification must be obtained within two weeks of reporting for duty. Major Duties:
