About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Phantom Lanes Bowling Center at Seymour Johnson AFB.

Operates the customer service desk, assigns lanes to be used, rents shoes, and sells items in the pro shop. Reserves bowling lanes and collects fees.

Reconciles cash at close of shift for front counter and snack bar. Operates the snack bar cash register and reconciles cash at the close of shift. Prepares bank deposits. Verifies Bingo funds.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience: Preferred practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules and procedures associated with the day to day business operations in a bowling center.

It is desirable to have the ability to operate a cash register, safeguard and handle cash; however no experience is required.

Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Check with Inquires (NACI) You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Major Duties:

Preforms a variety of duties within the bowling center to include manning the customer service desk, assigns lanes to be used, rents shoes, and sells items in the pro shop.

Reserves bowling lanes and collects fees. Reconciles cash at the close of shift for front counter and snack bar. Operates cash register in the snack bar during the busy meal periods.

Counts and verifies monies from both front counter and snack bar. Prepares form 1876 and daily bank deposits.

Answers customer inquires concerning special events and other related bowling center activities. Counts and verifies change fund and Bingo payout envelope. Ensures safe is secure at the close of day.

Ensures building is secures at close of day. Displays and sells merchandise in the Bowling Pro Shop. Will remove bowling pins from the gutter if needed. Preforms other related duties as assigned.
