This job is for a lifeguard at Army pools on Fort Gordon in Georgia, where you'll watch swimmers, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies by performing rescues and first aid.
It's a great fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors or in water facilities, has strong swimming skills, and is comfortable helping people while keeping areas clean and safe.
Entry-level experience in aquatics or customer service would help you succeed.

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Possesses and maintains the following certifications: Lifeguarding and First Aid (American Red Cross or nationally recognized equivalent i.e.
Star Guard, YMCA, or ELLIS); American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional; CPR for the Professional Rescuer/AED or equivalent (American Heart Association CPR/AED); First Aid.
For Water Parks upgrade the certification to: 'Waterpark Lifeguarding and First Aid; CPR/PR/AED' (American Red Cross) 2.
In addition, for facilities that use Oxygen Administration "02 bottles" the 02 Administration certification (American Red Cross "Oxygen Administration or installation offered training (i.e.
Fire Dept.) must be obtained within two weeks of reporting for duty. **Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualifications criteria above.
