Job Description

Summary

This job involves running a firing range at a military sports complex, where you'll help customers safely use the facility, issue ammunition, and ensure everything follows the rules.

It's a hands-on role that includes teaching basic gun safety and handling customer transactions.

A good fit would be someone with experience in shooting ranges or customer service who enjoys working with people and firearms.

Key Requirements

This position is located at Tactical Advantage Sportsman's Complex.

Must have experience with firing range operations and firearm safety. 2. Possess work experience which involved dealing with the general public. 3. May have cashier skills. 4.

Must be able to obtain current Installation Range Certification Card, National Rifle Association (NRA) Range Safety Officer Certification, or equivalent certification within 60 days of entrance on duty.

Major Duties:

  • Executes range facility opening, closing, and operating procedures in accordance with installation, local, and federal laws.
  • Instructs patrons on range safety practices, and provides general firearm and marksmanship information.
  • Ensures proper handling storage, accountability, inventory of ammunition, and vault security.
  • Issues ammunition and range related accessories to customers, checks ID, and collects fees.
  • May perform cashier duties and maintain records of sales.
